Competitor Roster

Phase 1 (roster + categorization) and a first pass of Phase 2 (enrichment) are complete below, based on public info — websites, Google/Facebook/Yelp/Birdeye reviews, and business directories. Nothing here is verified in person; treat “Kendra’s Edge” as a hypothesis to sanity-check, not a conclusion. Business names link to a Google search for that business so you can pull up Maps/reviews yourself. See phasing and out criteria.

Market Pattern Worth Noting

“Natural/organic products” is a commodity claim, not a differentiator here. The Natural Canine LLC, Going Mutts LLC, and Just for Paws all lead with the same “natural, non-toxic, organic products” pitch. If Kendra’s brand also leans on natural products, it will blend in rather than stand out — the executive-chef/consistency angle is more likely to be a real point of difference in this market.

A cluster of solo/small-team groomers lean on a “calm, one-on-one, no other dogs present” pitch: A Muddy Trackz, Dirty Dogs with Muddy Paws, The Natural Canine, Pawlish N’ Shine, Heidi’s. This is the dominant anxiety/reactive-dog positioning in the area — worth knowing before Kendra claims the same territory, since it’s already crowded.

Sheep Davis Rd, Concord is a competitor cluster, not duplicate listings. Multiple independent groomers operate out of what appear to be two multi-tenant plazas: 244/297 Sheep Davis Rd (Pawtopia, A Furry Affair/“The Grooming Shop by A Furry Affair”, Going Mutts) and 248 Sheep Davis Rd (Just Dogs by Jennifer — Unit 7, Wish Upon a Paw). All are confirmed as separate, currently-operating businesses. This corridor is the single densest concentration of grooming competitors in the service area.
